Paper Balloon cards

This is a new range of cards just launched. Running with the popularity of the Japanese paper balloons , each card comes with a balloon inside that corresponds with the character on the front of the card, a nice little surprise for the lucky recipient.For this range I wanted to create  a slightly rough print feel to the overall graphics so had fun with a bit of lino printing and rubber stamping!

The Cockpit Open studios were buzzing last weekend , I had a lovely time chatting, eating carrot cake and playing shop!I didnt get to do much escaping from my stall as it was busy, busy but here are a few snaps of work from designers close by,I forgot to take some photographs of my own pop up shop!! Cockpit open studios this weekend

I had a studio at Cockpit studios for 10 very happy years and have been invited back to be part of their 25 year anniversary by exhibiting in the Alummini  space . A bit of background info; Cockpit studios is tucked away in a yard in Holborn , designer /makers work alongside each other in shared studio spaces, It is a hot house of great talent and the great thing about the open studios is that allows you to come and see behind the scenes and browse around each makers pop up shop in their own work space…..A breath of fresh  air and a million miles away from the homogeneous high streets of our current times!
